Position Title: Loan Servicing Associate
Location: Rockport or Gardiner, ME

Position Brief:
We are seeking a Loan Servicing Associate to join our growing team at our Gardiner location! The Loan Servicing Associate will provide support to the various commercial lending departments within the bank. This support may be maintaining, reconciling, reporting, and remitting for the Bank's commercial, FAME and SBA loan portfolios. Camden Nationals Loan Servicing Department is an energetic and service orientated team who are dedicated to provide the best experiences to our customers and employees alike. We continue to grow and develop new processes and we need your help to do it!
Responsibilities:
Quality control all commercial loans on the Bank's core system.
Process loan modifications, renewals, etc. by accurately updating the Bank's core system.
Prepare and process loan payoff requests.
File, continue and terminate UCC statements.
Process incoming and outgoing participation payments.
Process monthly SBA and FAME remittances.
Research and respond to monthly exceptions on the SBA's fiscal transfer agent report; correct loans as necessary.
Add escrows to commercial accounts and review escrow analysis reports.
Multi-task and maintain a high level of organization to meet daily and monthly deadlines; especially during month-end activities.
Communicate with lenders, branch staff, and other support areas to resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
Interacts harmoniously and effectively with others, focusing upon the attainment of bank goals and objectives through a commitment to teamwork.
Performs additional duties as requested.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Effectively uses technology to perform daily activities and service internal customers.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
