Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for all recruitment efforts, coordinating the on-boarding of new employees, partnering with the Payroll Specialist to process the bi-weekly payrolls.
Deploying traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.
The Human Resources Coordinator will play a critical role within the Human Resources Department ensuring the best internal customer service.
Position
Responsibilities:
Review and screen incoming applications & resumes using ADP as the hiring database.
Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media etc.
to build and maintain robust talent pool.
Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
Managing the hiring center including but not limited to banners, signs, advertising.
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Sets up necessary pre-employment requirements such as drug tests, background screens, reference checks, license history, etc.
Maintains reports on turnover on a monthly basis of all divisions.
Manage applicant tracking system to include overall administration, user training, etc.
Perform all ADP maintenance including status changes, new hires, and terminations.
Responsible for verifying the bi-weekly payroll.
Sets up necessary pre-employment requirements such as drug tests, background screens, DOT reference checks, license history, etc.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of Human Resources experience with a focus in recruitment and payroll processing.
ADP database experience preferred.
Must have good to excellent computer application knowledge in Word, intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel with an understanding in database management.
Experience using payroll/HR databases required.
Good to excellent interpersonal skills to deal with both internal/external clients.
Must be able to work under pressure with good attention to detail in order to meet deadlines.
Must be able to be flexible to handle multiple, changing priorities and frequent interruptions.
